Unfriendly staff - Bernadett she doesnt even look at you in the eyes. Not even smile at you. Very robotic..I suggest that the management should train them what is customer service is. I’ve been to old red planet branches like davao, cebu, angeles, ermita, makati and aseana but they are all welcoming, very helpful and very polite. We are very satisfied and happy with their service. However in Manila bay, very disappointing. She should not represent the hotel brand. Even the lady in white that takes my card upon check out. I commend the guard at the lobby that time, he is helpful and gives a good vibes with his smile.

Clean, practical, with modern interiors. Great for short stays. Strategically located near Luneta Park, National Museum, US Embassy, and the Malate area. Limited parking available outside of the building. A lobby at the second floor serves as a lounging area. Efficient hotel staff and security. The neighborhood is relatively quiet. But a short walk away from the busy tourist areas.

Stayed here few days before flying to Aklan. We had a comfotable stay. It was nice having a mini fridge, kettle, complimentary water and coffee. The location was really good. Our room is overlooking the US embassy which was nice and it's near shops and restaurants. Highly recommended. Staff were really good and corteous from security to reception.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at his hotel and it was as expected and pleasant. The staff service was brilliant as always and my request for adjoining rooms was granted. I actually stayed in the exact same room as my first visit which was a nice coincidence. The ONLY negative I have is that one of the elevators was out of action all four days of the stay. Things happen which is fair enough but when there’s only 2 elevators and one is out of action it does mean a lot of waiting. Still recommend staying here 100% as the value for money, service and view of the bay (opt for a Bay View room) are fantastic. Still my go to place in Manila Bay.

This is the best Red Planet I've ever stayed at so far in the Philippines, probably because its newer than the others so they were able to improve on the design. The double room that had what seemed like a queen or king size bed, the lighting was definitely better than the other Red Planet branches, no more ceiling fan, airconditioning was quiet and new, and the best part was the more spacious working desk / area and the addition of a mini-refrigerator, electric kettle, and coffee cups. The bathroom was smaller than the usual Red Planet bathroom, but shower was still strong and warm/hot water flow was reliable. As usual, I appreciate the single dispenser for soap, shampoo, and conditioner instead of having small plastic bottles for them. Service was fast and hospitable. The restaurant downstairs (Manileno's) serves delicious and affordable food with an extensive menu. Perfectly located near the US Embassy and the famous Chinese restaurant Emerald restaurant, and at a walkable distance from Manila Hotel, Luneta Park, and Intramuros. The elevator is new, but for some reason the keycard reader takes a while to read the keycard. There were some flickering lights in the hallway of the 8th floor that need replacing. The immediate area near the hotel has some squatters and might be uncomfortable for people who are not used to that kind of environment, but the area is safe.
